Clark Coulson
Chief Executive Officer and Founder

Clark Coulson has been working in insurance for over twenty years as an underwriter, adjuster, and broker. In 2012, while serving as CEO of Global Ag Risk Solutions (GARS), he created the first ever private crop insurance product in Canada that does not rely on government subsidies. Since parting ways with GARS to concentrate on Just Solutions, Clark has become focused on redefining insurance and its relationship to farm business.

Ernie Wouters
Chief Operations Officer

Ernie Wouters has spent over twenty-five years examining the question of leadership and developing the Seven Edge Success Leadership Training program. As the founder of Seven Edge Success, he has coached hundreds of teams and thousands of individuals in more than twenty-five industry sectors to reach new levels of purpose, performance, and personal transformation.

Kimberley Millar
Chief Financial Officer

Kimberley Millar worked previously as the controller for the Western Automotive Group (part of the Knight Automotive Group), where she oversaw financial reporting, analysis, and processes for four vehicle dealerships in Moose Jaw. Before that, she worked as a Senior Accountant at Deloitte, focusing on real estate, pension plans, and insurance. Kimberley has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and her Chartered Professional Accountant designation (legacy designation Chartered Accountant).

Amber McCrystal
Chief Underwriting Officer

Amber McCrystal first joined Clark Coulson’s team at Global Ag Risk Solutions (GARS), where she worked on underwriting. Prior to that, she was a senior accountant at MNP LLP. She also has some experience in the public sector through a previous position with Saskatchewan Government Insurance. Amber has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and her Chartered Professional Accountant designation (legacy designation Chartered Accountant.

Michelle McNabb
Manager of Administration

Michelle McNabb is the longest-serving member of the Just Solutions team, joining shortly after its inception in 2009. At that time, she was responsible for all office operations (including payroll, finance, admin, and IT). This was in addition to looking after forty commercial insurance accounts, including three long-haul trucking companies and a large excavating company. Michelle is also a licensed insurance broker.

Stan Peters
Manager of Operations

Stan Peters has a Master’s degree in Education Administration and has completed Doctoral studies in the field of leadership. For many years he coached university-level basketball, and in 2003, was named Canada West Coach of the Year while at Trinity Western University. He was recently named to the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference Sports Hall of Fame.

Justin Simpkins
Senior Risk Manager

Justin Simpkins first joined Clark Coulson’s team at Global Ag Risk Solutions (GARS) in early 2011. At that time, he was responsible for the hiring, development, and training of the GARS staff. His gained further sales experience during a year in Australia, as the National Sales Manager of the country’s first ever multi-peril crop insurance product. Justin has a Business Admin degree with a major in Marketing, and is also a licensed insurance broker.

Kerby Court
IT Manager

Kerby Court has nearly twenty years of experience coaching and teaching in Canada, Asia, and the United States. He has coached and served as a women’s basketball head coach and staff member in Canada (at Trinity Western University) and the U. S. (North Carolina State University). He has a Master’s degree in Leadership from Trinity Western University. Prior to joining Just Solutions, Kerby worked at a software development company in Washington State.

Devin Keefe
Director of Communications

After completing a Bachelor’s degree in English, Devin Keefe put his plans for entering Journalism School on hold to take a summer job on a film crew shooting in his community. He spent the next sixteen years working in Saskatchewan’s film and television industry as a writer and assistant director. Among his production credits are the popular TV series “Corner Gas,” and feature films like “The Unsaid,” “Skipped Parts,” and “Falling Angels.”

Peter Lacey
Executive Chair, Cervus Corporation

Peter Lacey is the founder and Chairman of Cervus Equipment Corporation (TSX:CVL) a Canadian public company headquartered in Calgary, AB. Cervus is comprised of 72 equipment dealerships, representing John Deere agricultural equipment (63%), Peterbilt Truck dealerships (26%), Bobcat, JCB construction and material handling dealerships (11%). These dealerships are located across Western Canada and Ontario. Cervus also operates John Deere dealerships is Australia and New Zealand. Total annual sales for Cervus exceeded $1,133,878,000 in 2015.

Greg Stewart
Former CEO & President, Farm Credit Canada

Greg Stewart has more than 26 years of experience with Farm Credit Canada (FCC), a leading agricultural lender and self-sustaining Crown Corporation. From 2007 until June 2014, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of FCC and prior to that he served as Chief Operating Officer, Senior Vice-President of National Lending Operations, Vice-President of Western Operations and Agri-business, and Vice-President of Risk Management.

Bryce Tingle
Co-Founder, TingleMerrett LLP

Bryce C. Tingle, LL.B, LL.M, is the N. Murray Edwards Chair of Business Law at the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Law. From 1994 to 2006, Bryce was a lawyer and partner of Tingle Merrett LLP, focused on securities and corporate finance for growth companies. He is a member of the founding teams for several companies active in the technology, energy and financial industries. He has served as a director on the boards of several private and public companies. Mr. Tingle is also a Member of the Securities Advisory Committee of the Alberta Securities Commission (ASC)and the Exempt Markets Committee of the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC). He is the author of several academic publications, most recently, Start Up and Growth Companies, A Guide to Legal and Business Practice 2nd ed. (Markham, Ont; Lexis Nexis Butterworths, 2013).
